Encryption over VNC?

does the VNC in iSSH support encryption? I use RealVNC server and with
encryption turned on I can not connect to it. I've looked through all
the options... I'm I missing something?

Thanks!

Thank you for contacting Appigo Support. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced some issues while using AccuFuel.

Our development team is arduously working on fixing this bug, which will be resolved with the next release of AccuFuel.

There is a way to get that data though. This requires that you extract and send us the AccuFuel database from your iTunes backup file. We do provide you with detailed instructions of how to do that.

If you are willing to do this please reply to us with the following information:

* What type of operating system you use?

We apologize for the inconvenience that this bug may have cause you,

Re: remove beta?

My experience with going from Ad Hoc to App Store installs and back is
that whatever version will be updated in-place over the current one.
You shouldn't lose any data nor have two copies on your phone. Simply
grabbing the update from the App Store will remove the ad hoc for now
from your phone. You can always replace later if you prefer. Also,
version 4.0.10 is in review and has a few more revisions and bug fixes
so expect that any time now!

Thanks for the comments about wanting Todo to integrate and work with the new Toodledo subtask sorting option that is now available. Currently Toodledo does not have an API that would allow this type of integration with Todo. When this happens we will look into including this functionality in a future Todo update.

Hi there,

Toodledo recently implemented a new feature that enables the manual

However I've noticed that the sort order of manually sorted sub-tasks
in Toodledo is not synced to ToDo. And the reverse is also true - if I
manually sort tasks within a Project in Appigo ToDo, this is not
synced to ToodleDo.

Can you please consider adding this capability?

[appigo-todo] Re: Push alerts not working consistently

I, to, am having no luck with Alerts. I was having trouble getting
the verification email sent but it finally went through when I
replaced my '@mac.com' email address with my '@gmail.com' address (the
email went right through upon changing it). I've restarted my phone a
couple times and have yet to receive a single Alert from ToDo. I've
followed your site's setup instructions perfectly. I've tried
changing settings to see if they make any difference (sounds, time,
etc) but nothing has helped.

Please help.

Re: Import Themes?

There is a bug in the current release version which occurs when importing themes from another GUI file in the same folder as the GUI file you are importing TO.
It has to do with overwriting images used in themes. This has been fixed in the upcoming 2.2.0.0 release of guiDesigner, which will be out in a week or so (before the new iViewer is approved by Apple).

For now, try creating the new GUI file in a different directory and then importing the themes.

Currently you cannot swap the default button click sound, only turn them
on or off in settings.

The sound manager is for assigning sounds to digital joins (play when
the join goes high). We will look at adding the ability to change the
default click sound in future.

Re: [appigo-todo] Push notifications

Sam,

Thank you for your post.

Do you have any special characters in your name? If you do, remove them and see if that works. If you do not, then please try deleting and installing Todo again. The next link has instructions of how you can do this: http://www.appigo.com/todo/faqs/misbehaving-application

In order to update the badge count via push notification, we would have to store all your tasks and their details in our servers (we currently do not do this) and send you the update daily via push notification.

Let us know if you have further questions,

at the same time.  What is missing is a way to "flag" tasks to appear
in the Focus List.

If a person has a long task list and needs to focus on the tasks at
hand, one needs to know which items are due and due soon (which the
current Focus List can do) AND needs to be able to narrow down which
tasks will be worked on for the day (such as flagging the tasks) ..
thus a Focus List.

Currently, the Focus List can be...

... filtered by Priority also but that eliminates items appearing by
due date.  (That is totally useless! )

... filtered by Priority AND Due Date  (That would eliminate a lot of
tasks if you didn't go through each one and change two settings-- the
prioirty and the due date--  on every task you wanted to Focus on that
day!)

... filtered by Due Date  (which means if you have a task you want to
appear in the Focus list you need to go through each task you wish to
focus on, and change the due date to some current date-- whether or
not the task is due on that date or not!)

Yes, this is something that can be worked around but it really could
be much better and much simpler.

I think the best scenario for a Focus List would not filter items out,
but rather display items that meet a certain criteria.  For simplicity
it would display items Due Today and/or in the next couple of days AND
would display items Flagged to be in the Focus List.  It should also
be easy to flag the items, not opening them up and going through
several selections i.e. tags, dates and priorities.

Thanks!

ps  I enjoy the app and use it  daily.   Syncing w/ Toodledo has been
great and the Note Book app works well right along with ToDo.  I
really like the Time Stamp and Date Stamp feature on the Notebook
also...  Good work on both!

Re: [appigo-todo] Re: Windows Sync Flattens All subtasks and checklists

G-Mo,

Thank you for your post.

When you sync your tasks, Appigo Sync stores all your tasks properties (including hierarchy) and then, it copies them to Outlook.

When you modify  your subtasks in Outlook, the changes are transferred to Appigo Sync, and they will be transfer to Todo when you sync again. The parent-child relationships should be kept unless you have other applications that interact with Outlook. These other applications, including backups, could potentially override the Todo information for your tasks, thus flattening out your tasks the next time you sync.

Research the specs on it and see if it accepts commands via the lan
port. You could then control it without purchasing any additional
equipment by talking to it directly from your command fusion
interface.

I don't know if there is a direct ethernet protocol to control it -
best to ask WD directly.

Further to this, I've found that I can still use compiz if I make a
change to the configuration of my vnc server (I'm using the built-in
Ubuntu vnc server, called vino-server, that you get to via System/
Preference/Remote Server).

Run gconf-editor, then navigate to desktop/gnome/remote_access. Place
a check-mark in the disable_xdamage button. The description states
that this may slow vino down slightly, but I find performance on my
iPod is still good over the LAN.

Gestures are in the 3.2 release, locked in. Development started on it
already.

We have had to restructure a fair bit of code relating to orientation
changes due to limitations within the iPhone OS itself, and this took
a lot longer to track down all the little bugs than we had planned.
Sorry for the delay, but know that we are constantly working on new
features and fixes so you can be assured any investment made in our
software will be looked after.

Thank you for your post.

Currently, when syncing with Remember the Milk, contexts are not editable in Todo. You must add contexts from RTM as locations.

We hope this explains the situation. If not, feel free to let us know and we will be happy to assist you further.

[appigo-todo] Push notifications

I have been using ToDo for a long time now and love it. I sync with
Toodledo and was very excited about the new push notifications.
However, I have not been able to get my ToDo to set up. I went into
'Alerts' and entered my name and email and only get the spinning
circle in the top right corner after I tap 'save'. It will continue
spinning for 10+ minutes (that's how long I gave it the last time) but
go nowhere. I never received an email to complete the registration
for push notifications so I know my information really isn't going
anywhere. Any help? Suggestions?

Also, is there any hope of getting push badge notifications? I can't
believe this wasn't included in the big 'push' update!

Thanks for the help!

[appigo-todo] Alerts Not Setting Up

I am trying to enable my Alerts page to get the verification email in
order to make the push notifications work. I put in my name and email
address and hit 'save' then getting the spinning wheel forever.
Nothing changes on the Alerts screen, the wheel at the top right just
keep spinning. I haven't received a confirmation email either.

Also, has there been any word about Appigo updating ToDo to push badge
notifications? This is such an important detail and I can't believe
they overlooked it in the push updates.

Thanks for the help!

[appigo-todo] Focus List (is too myopic!)

I can only put it this way... The Focus List is next to useless. It
merely "filters out" items by due date or priority-- or both of these
at the same time.

[appigo-todo] Having to daily reinstall Appigo sync for ToDo:What am I missing?

Great product, and functionality is fine for me. Except, pretty much
on a daily basis, I find I have to hit Switch services again, and go
through the reselection of Appigo Sync, type in the passcode, etc.

Is this because when I take my iPhone out of the house, it loses
connection with the local network? I suspect it's got something to do
with moving away from same-network, but I can't figure what.

It's a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.

What am I missing?
Thanks,
Charlie Green

[appigo-todo] Re: Windows Sync Flattens All subtasks and checklists

When I synced to Outlook via Windows beta, I lost my checklist and
project heirarchies in Todo as well as Outlook. I understand form
your previous answer that Outlook wont show heirarchies, but how do I
a) maintain checklist heirarchies in Todo when syncing to Outlook and
b) "get heirarchies back" since it appears everything is flat in
todo.

[appigo-todo] Context editing GONE?

Hi. I bought the todo program for the iphone and synched it with
remember the milk. Now I don't have the option to edit contexts
anymore. I can't create or remove them. I didn't see anything about
how to report a bug or get something fixed, so I'm asking here.

It used to have the "edit" button when working with contexts. Now
it's gone. Anybody know why?

[appigo-todo] One more feature suggestion

There should be a Task type that is = Errand. This is similar to
"visit a location," but somehow that seems like an annoying way to
phrase things, in particular because most people don't have the exact
locations of, say, the grocery store or the nearest Macy's programmed
into Contacts...

Agreed 100%!!

A snooze option would be a nice addition, but really making variable
per alert times would be extremely useful. And youve already got the
infrastructure for push notifications in place, so i dont ser much
chante in supporting personalized times
Also, this would even further enhance toodledo compatibility since
they offer this variable time per task already
any chance u may have thought of setting up a toodledo replacement?
I'd swith my suscription in a beat. Really your iPhone app is years
ahead of toodledo's
