Re: Transfer CF to new iPhone ?

Unfortunately there is no way around this. Being able to 'deactivate'
a license would require that the application 'phones home' via
internet every time it is launched, which is obviously not appropriate
due to both increased loading time as well as situations where no
internet connection is used by the control device (think dedicated
iPod Touch in a closed LAN).

If you lose your iPhone and need to replace it, it is not our fault.
If you choose to upgrade and there is a possibility of trade in your
old phone, make sure you get documentation to prove it.
If you sell the old phone, and can prove the transaction took place,
we may provide a free license transfer depending on the quality of
documentation proof (which varies depending on how the device was
sold).

Chris: If you can think of a way that we could actually implement such
a licensing system, please share your thoughts. We struggled with this
for a long time and there is no feasible way to implement it without
placing a burden somewhere else along the line.

Karl: If you have documentation to prove the device was faulty, then
we can look at crediting your account with a free license for your
troubles. For everyone else, please contact us when you get into a
situation like this as we treat each request for license transfers on
a case by case basis.
