heading over to X11 I generally switch to konsole or gnome-terminal at
that point. Try those two and see what you find.
As for iX11, it's somewhat vestigial. It's left over when the store
review times were insanely long and I wanted to get some something in
the way of an X11 server in the store. Now it's just a basic
equivalent to iSSH's X server in the sense that it runs strictly with
authentication as "xauth +". iSSH uses secure forwarding instead.
