Sadly what happens is it keeps popping up the notify, after you ignore
it, and seemingly at random intervals so far indefinitely. I keep
thinking I have email, and it's iSSH. Even killing with the task
manager doesn't make it go away. This is I am afraid, rather annoying :
( I have to ask, is it possible to turn it off? I have logged out of
the ssh session and even that doesn't work.

Sorry to be negative, I know you are trying you best with the limited
apis available.
