Re: Global Cache and Pioneer LX5090H - IR trouble

If I remember right, the IR receiver is on the opposite side from the power leds.

I would triple check that first. Use a flashlight and find the opening in the plastic, you should be able to see it.

That having been said, why not choose RS232 instead ? It would save the trouble of having an IR blaster glued to such a nice TV set...

Hello

I've sendt Global Cache a support request as well, but why not ask you
guys too...

Im trying to control a Pioneer KURO LX5090H TV, from a GC-100-18 using
the IR emitters that came with the controller. Its a fresh, reset`ed
controller. I've learned the IR, several times (with different
settings.), and I've tested different positions for the emitter, but
the TV doesn't obey at all.

All other IR to other components work fine. (and Ive also swapped
ports)

I think that its something to do with the learning that makes my IR
not perfect. The GC controller seems to process the IR correctly.

Anyone here that might have had the same trouble?

Regards

Even
