Serial adapter and iSSH

Anyone have experience with a serial (RS-232) adapter that works with the iPhone/iPad? I found a few that work over wi-fi, so presumably they should work just like any other IP device. I saw some references to a dock connector to serial device, but didn't find a place to buy one.

Yes, every now and then, we still have to deal with devices that have legacy serial ports.
