In general browser standards will surely rise to meet the task ....
eventually. But based on your explanation it sounds like it will be a
ways off.
So perhaps an android app is the way to go.
But hey, embeded h.264 video in an ipad sounds killer and that is only
like a month out right ;) kidding of course, but we can't wait.
