Bug report--dark screen after connection reset

I've been experimenting with that Wi-fi to serial device (seems to have a problem, working with the vendor). It exposed a bug in iSSH. Sometimes when I connect to it I get a "connection reset by peer" error. This causes the iSSH terminal display area to become dim, and then all of the menus and screens are corrupted. I have to exit and restart iSSH.

I know this may be hard to reproduce, so I made a video of it:
