key authentication issue

it seems my ssh server (i use copssh 3.1.1) doesn't take a public key
(rsa) of less than 2048 bits. when i use touchterm ssh to connect to
it, i had to generate a key of 4096 bits. but now issh cannot do it.
any solution?
