[appigo-todo] Startup sync

Are there any plans to remove the inability to do almost anything in
Todo when the startup sync is occurring? The software is awesome, I
can't really say I have many other complaints or even small
suggestions that haven't already been suggested (maybe a couple of
ideas for expanding the multi-edit functionality which is already very
good in it's current, and brand new, incarnation). However, while I
change tasks often on both the phone and computer, and need the sync
to happen consistently, I am continually frustrated by the fact that
the application "locks" while the initial sync is performed.

There must be a way to work around this limitation...for one, I can't
even view a tasks in detail view while syncing, which doesn't change
data at all. But I should be able to 1) add a new task, and 2) check
off an existing task, while syncing. Adding a new task does not affect
the underlying data at all, it can simply be added to the server at
the next sync. And it should be somewhat simple to store the checked
flag for tasks that are checked off while syncing, complete the sync
from the original state, and then apply the checked/unchecked state to
the internal database when the sync is complete, again to be updated
on the server at the next sync.

Ideally this would be expanded to all the fields, so tasks could be
fully edited while the sync was taking place in the background, but I
understand that managing the task state is likely much easier in the
code if it's known that no changes will take place while a sync is
happening. However, the two changes I mentioned above would go a long
way toward improving usability (as would the ability to cancel the
sync somehow, though I'd rather stuff just be usable). On the rare
occasion my phone switches to Edge it's even more painful, since sync
can take an extremely long time and prevent me from quickly marking or
adding a task (since I use my phone for quick changes on the run).
