Re: Transfer CF to new iPhone ?

The website states transfer is not possible to prevent people from
registering devices which wont be the end user of the system. For
example, registering any old device that was used during testing,
which doesnt end up being used in the final system.
We have had many people contact us regarding broken and replaced
devices, and in most cases we are able to issue a new registration,
not a transfer.

Having guiDesigner check registration status is also not possible
because there are many times on site when someone has to make changes
to a system and upload these changes, all without an internet
connection. Especially in new installs where the internet connection
isnt even live on site yet. This happens a lot in the industry (I
myself have had to make changes and uploads when no internet
connection is available many times). Enforcing the check before each
upload is simply not feasible, and would also slow down the upload
process, which is something we try to streamline as much as possible
for quick repeated uploads to check changes.
