possibly with iViewer. There is software out there that allows
Crestron control of iTunes, and it might just work with iViewer custom
commands. Check out http://itunesboss.com/
For media center control, check out VMCController. Its for Vista Media
Center, but will probably work on Windows 7. It will allow direct
control and feedback via iViewer without the need for EventGhost.
None of the above has been tested at all, just pointing you in a
direction that should be useful.
