questions.
Can we have a dial wheel setting for a timed interval which controls
the frequency of the connection tests? This has been a great way for
me to check "server up" status. I dont have this running all the time,
but I use it if there is ever a question about one of our servers not
responding.
So, I have noticed that under OS4, when the app goes to background and
I bring it to front, I'm not getting updates on my status lights until
I make the OS quit the app and manually relaunch iSSH. MY Situation -
some connections cannot report good until I VPN to the office to the
private network. I'm not sure if a logout/exit would be necessary if
the test connection was timed in order to update the status lights.
What is actually occurring for the test connection, is it a full login
not just a port response? Maybe "server up" should be a new feature
with adjustable alternate port # and timer as another way to verify up
status. Could be a second light or a status grouping.
