Thanks, you are right, I do not have the problem with the DejaVu font.
I have not seen your comment in this thread, so I must have overlooked
it.
I probably only tried the bad fonts.
I still wonder why these fonts are provided if they are causing
problems, worse, even the default font is causing the problem. I would
recommend to offer only fonts that are working correctly.
