Shift key help

Thankyou for a wonderful app that solves my problems for accessing my
telnet application remotely

I have one issue I need an answer to. We need to acces f1-f30

F11-f20 in my system are shifted f1-10 and f21-30 are ctr f1-10

I can get shift key on the iPhone by sliding the top row keys and
shift if there

But I can not find a shift key on the iPad app. The shift on the ipads
normal keyboard does not perform the shifting of the function keys

Is there are shift key somewhere like on ctrl and alt on the apps pop
up pad ? Or is it hidden or somewhere where I am not looking
