long ago.
a couple of more information bits:
1. if i quit the app after a successful connection and restart, then
the connection is not listed on active conn tab
2. however, i do get "connection about to expire" local notification
3. looks like it's not enough to go to edit tab and tap save in order
to "renew" the connection -- i have to tap and select a description or
host field before i hit save.
