My usage is similar to Brian: I'll switch away from my session either because I've finished or to check Safari/whatever. If I return to iSSH within 10 mins it's a bonus the connection's still open, if I get sidetracked or it turns out I have no further need of the session then the reminder's just an annoyance.
i.e. For me, having connections remain open in the background is a nice-to-have so the reminder's unnecessary and a minor nuisance.
Cheers

That doesn't mean that I don't want the connection to be held open in the background when possible, just to make it easy and fast to return to my incredibly important work and/or gab session on IRC. I think an option to disable the connection close alert would be incredibly helpful as modal alerts are inherently annoying. If Apple actually implemented a sensible notification system ala Android or WebOS this wouldn't be an issue, but as it stands now I'd like just to disable it.
