iPad Display Issues

I've just downloaded iSSH, and have noticed a few display issues on my
iPad:

* If the password field is left blank and the iPad is in a landscape
orientation, a standard iOS AlertView is used to request the
password... however, the keyboard is transparent at this point which,
given that the background is (by default) black, actually looks as if
the keyboard is disabled, which is confusing. It would be better not
to make the keyboard transparent until after a password has been
requested from the user.

* Even better would be to track the cursor position on-screen, and
(optionally) only make the keyboard transparent if the cursor is below
the top of the keyboard tab-bar. There may need to be a slight delay
on this, so that the keyboard isn't constantly fading up and down if
anything is doing any funky scrolling...

* Wierdly, if iSSH is started with screen-lock on, then the keyboard
seems to start opaque (or, at least, the keyboard immediately slides
off-screen and then comes back opaque) whereas is screen-lock is off,
the keyboard stays on-screen and transparent :o

* The iPad has a dedicated "hide keyboard" button taking up space on
the virtual keyboard already - please could the keyboard icon in the
top tool-bar simply toggle transparency on the iPad, rather than
cycling through transparency and hiding the keyboard?

* Finally, there is a lot of wasted space on the iPad in portrait mode
- are there any plans to allow flexible terminal sizing so that wider
views can be used in landscape mode and taller views in portrait?

Cheers,

Stuart
