Sending (x,y) positioning from iViewer -To make a mouse for example

Hello
We have been toying with the idea of controlling the interface of a
computer via event ghost. (or any other software)
Is there a way I can parse the relative/absolute current positioning of
a single fingertip?
In other words. The large surface area of the ipad would be great for
creating a remote keyboard and mouse. . . . (yesterday I saw someone use
an iPad at immense speed to type)
Any thoughts?
