And I want to turn it into

So I've tried assigning the capture group as a token, global, and as
an serial value in a text field.

However I can't get onmatch to swap the capture group in as you
indicated.

If I put $myvariable$ in the onmatch value I end up with the literal
$myvariable$ in the result.
