On both the extra row of keyboard buttons as well as the top bar, once
you hit Ctrl or Alt, you can't 'unhit' it. I would expect that hitting
that button again would cancel the status, but instead, if you change
your mind about hitting a Ctrl combo, you can't. If this could be
confirmed by someone else, I would be comfortable calling it a bug.
