Hai upb lighting

Ok I had a thought and I was just looking for some constructive
brainstorming. Since the hai system seems to difficult to control via
ip and is pretty tedious to control via 232 , I wonder if it is
possible to use a secondary upb pim module connected via serial to a
global cache or bitwise box to make a pretty 2 way lighting control
page. I am pretty sure that 2 pims can control 1 set of lighting . Has
anyone had much experience with this? Who makes hai's pim module so I
can try and find the serial commands for it?
