iPad for his birthday..
I wanted to set up a configuration between his iPad and a mac laptop
at our house, so i can prove to him that I'm not a total idiot
concerning this UNIX stuff...but I must admit, I'm at a loss..
i have my ip address, have enabled remote login and screen sharing on
our mac laptop...but i don't know how to fill out the 'add
configuration' template to start a connection...i keep getting a
yellow or red circle in the configuration list in iSSH..
is there anyone who can help this dinosaur, or is there a SUPER noobie
FAQ to help out this old man with limited UNIX skills?
ie:
is my host something along the lines of 'mbair.local' or 'ssh
XXX@192.168.X.XXX' or my VNC address?
can i leave the port at default or should i use 80?
is login just the admin name of our laptop??
what in god's name should i put under 'command'???
ANY help would be greatly appreciated...
