In your short term one time pain you do not realize that this forum and Dean's instant response to any question (I don't believe he actually sleeps) is itself the highest quality documentation out there.
I suggest that you calm down a bit. You are right that after the recent burst of feature updates the documentation needs to be updated but using words like "unforgivable" is a bit over the top. On this list it is not just Dean that needs to listen to your rants. It is an extensive community of users and right now you are the one degrading our experience and wasting our time.
In my business we pay over $10000 a seat for software licenses. The idea that ten bucks is high priced seems a bit silly to me. The low price point for typical iPhone apps simply means all iPhone apps are cheap, not that ten dollars mysteriously becomes a lot of money. A fairer comparison is what you pay for other mission critical commercial software that is not on the iPhone.

Ten bucks is a high price for an iPad app -- most are under $3. Yes,
expectations have changed for pricing, because the App Store gives
developers much deeper market penetration, largely due to the new app
price point created by Apple's iPhone App store. iSSH is the most
expensive of all SSH apps for iPhone or iPad. It would be one thing if
iSSH was free open source software, but it's commercial software, and
app sellers don't get a pass on sloppy workmanship. Leaving docs out
of the app is just that: sloppy. There's no excuse for sloppyness when
the developer is charging top dollar. The magnitude of the price isn't
the issue. If I bought a hamburger for five bucks and it was delivered
dry on a stale bun, I'd be just as unforgiving, even if the patty was
prime beef.
I like iSSH as far as it goes -- it seems like a decent SSH
implementation. But on single-tasking devices like the iPad and
iPhone, it's unforgivable to make users leave the app to go scour the
Internet for the user manual.
This isn't a rant. It's quality control.
