Re: Gui Designer only works as Maximise or close

Try searching for CommandFusion in your user app data folder and
deleting any folders found.
This will remove any settings stored for the app. I have seen
instances where guiDesigner confuses itself where it was opened when
multi-monitor solutions are used and the PC configuration is changed
(unplugging a second monitor for example).
Deleting these settings will force guiDesigner to open again in the
first monitor.
