You are getting rude here. Proper answers would be to offer to pay for
the work, suggest why the substantial effort will be worth it for
other reasons, or offer to to help as a way of minimizing Dean's cost.
Software development is a business. The goal is to make money.
Features cost money to implement. Developers implement features that
potentially increase revenue. Dean didn't invent any of this. It is
just the way the software business works. It fact that is the way
business in general works.

You are the one with with an "unpleasant and unprofessional" attitude,
not Dean. Dean was just trying to give you an honest and polite answer
to why he was unlikely to get to Korean encoding any time soon. The
fact that you were unhappy with the answer doesn't mean it was
unprofessional. On the other hand name calling is unprofessional and
unpleasant, but you are the only one engaging in that.

You need to remember that this is a public forum not a private
discussion with Dean. When you are unpleasant you annoy the rest of us
who are just customers like you. In general Dean has been very
responsive when a request has general value to his customer base and
polite when he can't add a feature because the return wouldn't justify
the investment.
