Your gracious apology is accepted. Thank you. I apologize also. I was
insensitive to our legitimate cultural differences. We have different
views about proper business behavior. Neither is wrong. They just come
from different experiences. We should be more respectful of our
differences. I was not doing that.
In the United States we tend to value transparency and openness over
politeness and courtesy. Other parts of the world may value these
differently but neither is wrong because both are important.
