More than 600,000 iPhones have been sold in Korea for last 4months,
and many Koreans use US or other country's app store other than korean
app store because there's no game category in the Korean app store.
Me also bought this app from the us store.
As a developer myself, i can tell you that our applications are sold a
lot from us app store even though they are Korean specific
applications.
Especially for those who work at IT industries -likely the major
customer of this app- use us app store more than any others.
Thus, you should reconsider to add Korean encodings in this app, since
many Koreans eager to have Korean characters displayed on the app.
I found the app already supports Chinese, which is another 2byte
characters, so it wouldn't be that hard to implement Korean encodings
to the app.
Also, I would like to comment that your response to the first question
sounds very unpleasant and unprofessional.
If you have decided not to support Korean language because of Korean
market size, I totally understand your decision. But it has to be your
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION. The customer doesn't need to be aware of that.
Very disappointed.
If you happened to change your mind to support Korean encodings, I
will be happy to help you.
