X-windows is supported on most UNIX variants (Linux, Mac OS X, AIX, HP-
UX, Solaris, etc.). On Mac OS X, however, most of your app.s do not
use X-windows to display. If you're curious which ones do, and you're
sitting at a Mac, just click on the window in which the app. is
running. If the menu bar at the top says "X11", it's an X-windows
app. If it says something else (Safari, Mail, iTunes, etc.) it is NOT
something that you can display remotely in iSSH (not any way that I
know of anyway).

For Windows, you'd need a remote desktop client. That is a completely
different animal.
