real estate on screen

Hi there, I'm very pleased with the new upgrades to issh, but was
wondering if there is any plan to extend the text-only real estate
further down the screen? I would find it better to have more of the
lower section of the screen used, and not to use the top as much, or
have an option whether to use the whole screen. Is this a big ask?
