The iTach family does indeed support up to 8 simultaneous connections
where as the GC-100 series only supports 1. Global Cache is also
working on another model of iTach, called the iTachGC or GC-200. It
will be modular and support 8 simultaneous connections. This way you
will be able to expand past the single RS-232 port that the iTach
currently offers. The devices from Global Cache are a great way to
go, very robust.
