Re: Next GuiDesigner/iViewer Update

Hi Josh,

The new version of guiDesigner should be ready in the next week or so.

1. We have fixed a lot of issues with lists for the next release of
iViewer. There are still some issues to figure out, but its getting
better. Lists are very complex to setup in the highly configurable way
we have developed the feature. Of course any bug reports you can send
us with a stripped down GUI file just to reproduce the error would go
a long way in fixing any issues.

2. Animations are something we are working on in a future release,
with a powerful scripting engine to boot. This will be available in
the next month or two.

3. We do not plan to add a percent gauge. You can simply do the math
on Crestron end and show the result in a text field. Failing that, we
have implemented math expressions for external systems (not control
systems like Crestron - see our wiki for the differences -
http://www.commandfusion.com/wiki/index.php?title=External_System).
These math expressions will enable you to grab data in feedback and do
math calculations on it, before assigning it to a join.

I can guarantee you that iViewer will always be ahead of Crestron's
app. We have many powerful and exciting features planned and no issues
with cannibalising hardware touchpanel sales ;)
