Yes thats correct. The only difference on the guiDesigner side is to
choose 1024x768 as the project page size.

We are working on a new version of guiDesigner that will increase
guiDesigner performance at larger resolutions (if you start iPad
development now you may notice guiDesigner slows down a fair bit
compared to iPhone size).

Look out for that in the next couple of weeks.
