Re: General feedback on GUI Designer Software (workflow, and features)

Not GIF animations, but direct animation properties on static images
(ie. size, opacity, location).
We are also looking into the possibility of creating animations based
on multiple frames of PNG images. GIF's are simply too limiting due to
their lack of alpha transparency.

To sort them in your own order just give them names so they sort how
you want. eg. start pages with "00" if you want them to show at the
top, then by number, etc.
This is much better as you dont have to drag pages around in the list,
just use a naming convention that suits the ordering you want to use.

We are reworking the entire button actions in a release coming in a
month or two. This will enable different commands/macros on press/
release/long press, as well as any combination of those in a cycle
(eg. press sends one command, next press sends a different command,
third press sends yet another command, then loop back to start on next
press).

In the release awaiting approval you can parse feedback to assign
'tokens' to objects (think of them as a variable with a name that you
can store a value in), then use these tokens within commands to create
dynamic commands that send different values based on feedback states
of various systems. guiDesigner is just being worked on to enable this
and should be ready for the iPad release.
