Re: Flaky IR

0 comments
Finally got to spend some time on this and think I've cracked it.

Firstly, we've invested in a GC-IRL and I've re-learnt all IR codes;
interesting to see how different they are compared to the Pronto
converted codes.

I've also unchecked 'maintain constant connection' in the device
properties as while the new clean IR codes worked better, they still
were flaky (as described earlier, no activity lights on the back of
the GC-100).

One other thing I did in the project properties was to remove the IP
address of control system. I previously had this set to the IP address
of the GC-100, with port number 4998. I've now just put a port number
of 8019 for the iTouch; is this correct, or should I leave that blank
too?

Many thanks,

Nick
