Missing three characters at every Command prompt in the Terminal window

After upgrading and logging into One of my Servers, i Found the last
three Chats missing at every Command prompt.
E.g. if I am in the home folder, I should See
user@servername:/home>
but I see only ...:/ho
So, of I Start typing, m and e appear, then the >

I tried to change the configuration with no luck.

Any ideas welcome! Thanks!
