VNC setup

I just installed iSSH ... it is incredible!! I am having VNC
trouble. I have a server running on Windows XP. I typically connect
via port 5800 using a browser. Using the iSSH buttons, I must click
SSH/TELNET/RAW ... I tried SSH and RAW ... (with VNC, clicked as
well) ... but it doesn't work -- the light is green -- it says
"Connecting to VNC Server -- but then says "Failed" with un-disclosed
error. I tried the port assignment of 5800 and I also tried
"default" ... BTW I am running through a VPN connection.
