I would like to note that at least 50% of the time I am using issh, I am
working inside an Emacs. (vi would be a better match for issh, but I
grew up on Emacs keybindings.) I end up typing things like 'ESC b ESC b
ESC b' a lot. I would really hate to have a widget that disappeared
after each keypress such that I would have to bring it back up again.
In the same vein, anything that requires "hold" slows things down
immensely. Please keep this usage pattern in mind during design. (The
transparent button idea seems fine. How would it interact with
cut/paste functionality?)
