CowerFlow like list

Hi there I'm making CowerFlow-like list. List is composed of items
with images with serial join. I update join value with command like:

l1=1c s1=http://192.168.1.196:8019/ICE_AGE_2.jpg

Everything works fine until list contains ~5 items, but when item
count grows image list behavior is kinda unpredictable: some images
are doubled some a not loaded at all. Can you please clarify when
image loading is done? When join value is changed or when list item
element is visible on device?
