Re: Slow text entry

Some more information - the slowness of text entry was present on my
1st gen iTouch. Yesterday I bought an iPhone 3Gs and it keeps up with
my g1 for text entry speed (though I can't type nearly as fast on the
soft keyboard, but that isn't your fault!)

On the font thing, what I'm aiming for is a LARGER font that fills my
landscape screen. Something like say 44x12 or so. I would like to
have a SMOOTH font that is legible from a short distance away. Right
now it seems like there is only a slider, no actual way to choose a
font size that is an exact multiple of the "real" font size. So it
tends to look bad (for me at least) when I scale it bigger.

I'll try messing with it to see if maybe I can resize the font and use
some "stty rows xx columns yy" and reset commands to accomplish in
iSSH what connectbot seems to have built in.

I'll try your VNC today, I never found a particularly good VNC client
on android. For my use though, connectbot on android is absolutely
amazing right out of the box.
