Re: [appigo-todo] Re: Random alert?

Stephen and Marci,

Alerts in Todo are sent via push notification. This means that when you set an alert, the task information is uploaded to a notification server. This is why you need an Internet connection to receive your alert in a timely manner.

If you modify the task with the alert, then the new information is uploaded. If you simply uninstalled Todo, then the already uploaded alerts might have not been deleted form the notification server.

Keep in mind that when you install Todo, it comes with several tasks to show you how you can use each of the task types. One of these tasks is the "pick up light fixtures".

Let us know if you have further questions,

That is the same alert I got, "pick up light fixtures". I had deleted all default data as well.

This just happened to me today. A few days ago I had to reinstall the
ToDo app after restoring my iPhone. I had removed all of the default
data from the app, and this morning I got an alert for the 'Pick up
light fixtures' that was associated with the default project data -
East Side Renovation.
