I have recently been looking in to RS232 with CF thank you for the
feedback I will be testing the system soon (The denon is not here).
In the next phase of my project I would like CCTV PTZ functionality and
am currently looking at the Sony Network HD CCTV Cameras the "SNCRH164"
It has Pelco D serial protocol.
From the responses I got in the RS232 question it seems that this should
be straight forward as the GC100 just relays the commands.
Has anyone ventured into Closed Circuit Television with Pan Tilt and
Zoom on this or any other similar protocol?
Equipment:
Iviewer/Control FX
Iphone/pod
GC100-12
Objective
Project the image on a HD screen (hence HD Camera for wildlife and security)
Control the camera from CF with Iphone
There is no need for video feedback to the Iphone at this time.
As at time of writing this I have not looked into the pelco d protocol
will do soon
Regards
Nahshon
