sync with beta.
The Appigo Sync service on the iPhone can see my laptop computer as an
"Available Desktop". It does generate a passcode.
But on laptop, Appigo Preferences --> Devices show no devices.
I have:
1. Checked laptop firewall. Appigo is enabled to pass through.
2. Tried both Dynamic and Statis port settings.
3. Tried to manually enter the laptop Address and Port under the
Other Desktop option of ToDo.
4. Checked all addresses. Router address the same on both devices
(192.168.1.1) as is the subnet mask (255.255.255.0). The IPv4
addresses, of course, are different (192.168.1.4 for my laptop;
192.168.1.12 for the iPhone).
iPhone To Do can see the laptop; Appigo Sync cannot see the iPhone.
Is there any chance that this is a ROUTER firewall issue? Not sure
why that would be, but since using the wireless network to connect, is
there a setting within my router's firewall that needs to be adjusted?
Your iPhone app is very good. It will be great when you get this
Outlook sync ironed out. And, it would be fantastic if in a future
release you include Outlook's "flagged" items as part of the
synchronization. (i.e., In Outlook, Tasks automatically show on the
"To Do" view. When you "flag" an e-mail or a contact or anything
else, it too becomes part of the "To Do" list. Your program is only
synchronizing Outlook Tasks; Should present the option to sych all
Outlook To Dos)
BTW, I've used your program via Toodledo. That's how I know about the
Task vs. flagged item issue.
What can I do about my sync problem?
