Re: disappointed

thanks for the replies. i eventually figured out the wake on lan (not
obvious if you are using it mainly for tunneled vnc). i still haven't
figured out how to get the modifier keys from the arrow pad - but now
that i know about them (from the second helpful post), i'm sure i'll
make it work.

yes, it is a bummer that apple included a crippled vnc server. when
not controlling my machine, i will mostly use this to help older
family with their computer crises when i am not at home - and i try
not to install much software, or be dependent on their understanding
of what software is installed.

anyways, thanks again for the prompt and helpful replies.
