As noted elsewhere the docs are quite out of date.

The keys on key pie menu can be made "sticky" which will key the arrow
keys up after they're hit. I'm working on making a "pin to area"
feature for the key pie menu that'll simply allow people to fix it in
place regardless of the keys hit.
