Subpage Transition Glitch

Setup:

Subpage containing a text field. Subpage set to "fade" in at .5
sec, subpage set to "fade" out at 10 sec.

Control system sends a command to "show" the subpage and immediately
follows that with a command to "hide" the subpage.

This had the effect of being my "lcd screen" for my receiver. When a
status changed happened (tuner frequency, sleep timer, sound field
mode) the info would appear and gradually dissappear over 10 seconds.
If a new update happened before 10 seconds elapsed, the 10 second
timer would effectively be reset.

This used to work fine.

Now, if a the subpage join is set high while the 10 second fade
transition is happening, the subpage immediately dissappears and stops
responding to setting the join high or low for a few seconds.
