Our software doesn't care what firmware the GC unit is using. It's up
to you to define the commands that are sent. So if they have
implemented a new IR command format that allows for better ramping,
just use that command format in our software and you are good to go.

GC has not told me of any networking configuration changes. Please
tell them to contact me if you are still unable to solve the issue.
