is configured to only accept key authenticated connections (no
password authentication). I have generated a new DSA key pair in iSSH
and selected a password to protect the private key (I assume that its
used for that). I e-mailed myself a copy of the public key and have
copied it directly into the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file on the host
(running Mac OS X 10.6.3). To get to that server, I have to go
through a Time Capsule firewall which has a non-standard port
forwarded to the ssh port on the server. On my laptop, that is as
simple as: "ssh -p XXXX server.mydomain.com".
I have configured the host connection on iSSH to connect to the same
host/domain name and port and have enabled DSA authentication.
Unfortunately I get the following error: "Connection Failed.
Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available".
The DSA public key is present in the authorized_hosts file (on the
line following the DSA public key matching the private key I use from
my laptop).
Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong?
